Los Gatos Saratoga Camera Club

For over 50 years, amateur and professional photographers have enjoyed participating in our club. We welcome beginning, intermediate and advanced photographers –– all who collaborate on photos, ideas, critiques and techniques. The club holds monthly competitions with independent judges contributing tips on improving photographs. Guest lecturers present programs on equipment, photoshop, lightroom, and capturing images in some of the worlds most iconic locations. We have fun and share years of outstanding talent and knowledge among our members.

The Los Gatos - Saratoga Camera Club normally meets at 7:30 PM on the first and third Monday each month, except for holidays.

Competitions:

On the first Monday of the month, we have competition night where photos are anonymously evaluated by an independent judge and they decide on the winning images. These competitions are designed to reward outstanding images and offers tips and education to improve images. Projected image competition meetings are held once per month via Zoom. In addition, every other month (six times per year, on even numbered months), prints are also included in the competitions. These meetings include print competitions and are held in person at Congregation Shir Hadash (in the Oneg Room) : 20 Cherry Blossom Lane, Los Gatos, CA, and all are also available via Zoom (Hybrid Meetings).   Click for more detail on competitions.

Program nights:

On the third Monday of the month, we offer what we call a Program night, where an expert in some aspect of photography lectures on their area of expertise.  Both these meetings are typically 1.5 to 2 hours in duration. All program nights will be available over Zoom.  Some will be in person and simulcast over Zoom.  Check the calendar to see which programs may be attended in person at Congregation Shir Hadash.
