Behind the Lens, 40 Years a Newspaper Photographer
Karl Mondon is a very distinguished photojournalism photographer working for the Bay Area Newsgroup including the Mercury News. He has been responsible for some of the finest photography in the Then and Now series and his extensive credits include, Chicago From The Air Then and Now, LA From the Air Then and Now, East Bay Then and Now, Seattle Then and Now, Las Vegas Then and Now and San Francisco Then and Now (twice!)
I have asked him to discuss photojournalism in general and specifically talk about how he chooses his subjects, how he frames them for best impact, and how he deals with laws regarding signed releases from subjects.
If you have ever entered a PJ photo or want to in the future, you should watch this. PJ clearly overlaps travel photography.
