This program will discuss the important role of prints in photography and equip you with the skills and resources required to create quality printed images for personal use or print competition. We will focus on the requirements of print making, regardless of whether you have your own printer or not. Topics will include: the importance of monitor calibration, essential workflow for creating reliable prints, a “how-to” on easy print matting techniques, online resources for prints and print-making supplies, a review of popular printers for photographic prints, and a discussion of print media options. 

 You should attend this program if you always wanted to make prints but thought it was too much work or didn’t know where to start, or if you already are a print maker and are looking for new tips.
